Presenting The All New 2017 Wheelchair Accessible Chrysler Pacifica

Many people have long trusted the Chrysler Town & Country to be a great priced, long lasting handicap accessible vehicle. 2016 is the end of the Chrysler Town & Country line and 2017 brings the brand new Chrysler Pacifica. Kenny Valdez of Mobility Lift Aids out of Houston, TX has over 13 years of experience in the mobility industry and shared some of the features of the Freedom Motors Rear Entry Chrysler Pacifica conversion van, one of the first released in the United States of America.

Dimensions

This Freedom Motors Rear Entry conversion is a manual style bi-fold (hinges in the middle) ramp. The ramp is 38 inches wide and 56 inches long, the rear channel is 97 inches deep and can accommodate handicap accessible devices up to 38 inches wide. This 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has fixed original Chrysler bucket seats in the 2nd row, the width between these two seats is 31” which can accommodate a wide variety of accessible devices. The rear hatch opening is 55 inches high, which makes this a great conversion for personal users but does not currently reach the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

Features on this particular van

The 2017 Wheelchair Accessible Chrysler Pacifica from Mobility Lift Aids is the Touring package and includes a few great features:

  • Power Doors, Rear Hatch, and Windows

  • 5-Inch Touchscreen Display with Bluetooth

  • Steering Wheel Mounted Audio Controls

  • Remote Proximity Keys

  • Parkview Rear Backup Camera

  • Rotary Selector Gear Shift

The conversion comes standard with 2 anchor points for securing mobility devices and comes with an easy to clean rubberized flooring. An additional feature that you can add onto the Freedom Motors Chrysler Pacifica is a 2 person folding jump seat in the 3rd row. This allows for maximum occupancy and flexibility for seating.  Kenny describes the ride of the Chrysler Pacifica with the Freedom Motors Rear Entry conversion as having a “sporty feel, none of the floating around on the suspension. There is no bouncing or stiffness in the ride and it is very quiet.”

Kenny at Mobility Lift Aids is ready to help you decide if this Chrysler Pacifica Rear Entry Conversion will work for you. As a customer you are able to supply your own Chrysler Pacifica but the vehicle may not have All Wheel Drive or currently be the Hybrid version, other restrictions may apply.  Give Kenny a call today to learn more 832-358-3113

My professional background stems from non-profit marketing and fundraising for a large children’s cancer hospital. Every day I was able to make connections and relationships for kids and their families going through devastating times. From securing small donations to large corporate support, it was all about providing hope that one day doctors and researchers would find a cure. It was truly an honor to be a part of something so important.

Just this past year, I came to work alongside my family for BLVD.com, a website dedicated to offering the latest information and resources for people needing mobility products. This was a dream come true for me as I have always wanted to combine more time with my family while still helping others. Our family has been in the mobility industry for over 35 years with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for people with mobility issues. This is the spirit behind BLVD and what I am most excited about sharing in my blog.

I love meeting new people and have found that volunteering is the best way to learn more about others and myself. Coffee keeps me going as do walks my pup "Kirby" and most of all being with family and friends. I invite you to check out my blog to learn more about how "together we can move through life better!"
