The Chrysler Pacifica Northstar Access360 is a top-of-the-line wheelchair-accessible minivan that provides greater access to life with more available space, flexibility and ease of use. With its new 30 inch slide-out, in-floor ramp system and its 800 lbs. load capacity, users with larger chairs are able to enter and exit with ease. The in-floor design also reduces dirt and debris in the interior, and provides an optimal, unobstructed view and maneuverability. In addition, the Chrysler Pacifica has an extra 7 inches of legroom and open interior space behind the driver and passenger seats than the preceding, Town & Country; making the VMI Chrysler Pacifica the roomiest domestic wheelchair van on the market.
All Chrysler Pacifica Northstar Access360 conversions come with a patented, ultra-low, in-floor power ramp that allows for safe entry and exit for even the largest power chairs. The ramp is stowed under the floor, creating additional interior space for maneuverability while minimizing dirt and debris in the interior. Equipped with the SURE DEPLOY™ backup system ensures ramp will stow and deploy, even during an electrical failure.
The obstacle free front seats allow for easy removal, creating multiple seating arrangements for the wheelchair user and passengers. The space is large enough to accommodate two wheelchairs side-by-side if needed. New on the Chrysler Pacifica, the front seats are now interchangeable to their position which allows a driver and wheelchair passenger to easily switch positions, or vice versa.
The Chrysler Pacifica Northstar Access360 offers industry-leading door and interior height to accommodate taller wheelchair users. With more headroom than other mobility vans, the VMI Access360 conversion ensures nearly any wheelchair user can enter and exit the vehicle comfortably. The floor on the Pacifica has been dropped 15 inches, that’s 4 more than its predecessor, which creates a 56 inch door height opening for the tallest wheelchair users while still allowing for 5.25 inches of ground clearance.
