Tri-Fold Wheelchair Lift

With its power tri-folding platform, the Vangater Series solves the problem of wheelchair access and ambulatory entry. Over half the van's side door is available for easy ambulatory access when the wheelchair lift is in the stowed position. But the touch of a button quickly unfolds the platform, revealing a fully-functional wheelchair lift in a compact package. For passenger comfort, the front seat can recline fully – a feature unique to wheelchair lifts mounted inside the vehicle.

Platform

The Vangater Series lifts for wheelchairs offers 30" of usable width, and two platform usable lengths of 43" and 47". (47" platform can only be used in vans with lowered floors)

Outboard Roll Stop

For your safety, the electric roll stop raises to the vertical position before the platform leaves the ground. Special sensors prevent the handicapped lift from raising if the roll stop is not fully engaged.

Hand Held Control

The standard hand-held controls all lift functions. For greater convenience, an optional remote control system is available.

Vertical Folding Platform

With the lift for a wheelchair in the stowed position, over half of the van's side door is available for ambulatory use as well as cargo.

Swithch Arm

The lift's switch arm features an up/down control, allowing the wheelchair user to control the handicapped lift while on the platform. The "level" switch adjusts the tilt of the platform as needed.

Control Tower

The control tower features on-lift controls operating every function of the lift for your wheelchair. For your peace-of-mind, a manual back-up system allows you to operate the lift easily, even in the event of vehicle electrical failure.

Threshold Sensor Mat

If the threshold sensor mat is occupied when the handicapped lift platform is below vehicle floor level, lift operation will be prevented, and visual/audible warnings will alert passengers and attendants to unsafe conditions.

Optional Power Door Openers

The optional automatic door operators give you complete control of your mobility. The doors can be opened and closed with all standard and optional lift for wheelchair controls.
