This is a rear-entry wheelchair minivan that we bought for my sister in law a couple of years ago. We replaced the air conditioner last summer, and last week we had the Toyota dealer replace an airbag because a warning light was displayed. To place a passenger in the wheelchair bay, you open the tailgate and push a little release button to lower the wheelchair ramp to the ground behind the van. (No extra parking space is needed on the side of the van to load or unload the wheelchair). The seat belt is attached to the system which secures the wheelchair to four locking devices built into the floor of the van. There is some cosmetic damage to the body in spots. This is a nice, comfortable way to transport a person in a wheelchair without engaging in any awkward transfers. It sure saved our backs!
