Learn MoreI have had the Clearway installed in my Ford Transit 250 van for about 16 months. Since installation the unit rattles constantly and even with bungee cords wrapped around sections, it is still quite noisy. Also the plate that locks into place when stowed constantly comes unlocked. I have brought it in for service numerous times but it could never be adjusted to lock and stay locked. Very dissatisfied with the unit. The other thing they do not mention is that there is a 4" flange that you would need to step over in the stowed position making it difficult to use the doorway.
We have a topper purchase in 2019. In early 2020 it started to fail. The service people did nothing after a 4 hour drive. In May of this year it failed completely. It's still under warranty and no one seems to give a crap. They won't fix it or even answer their phones. Stay away from this company. They are thieves. In the meantime, my wife can't get in and out of the car by herself. This company sucks
