All walk intubs,tubs with a door, step in tub units shall be vacuum formed from high gloss acrylic sheets, and layered on the backside with fiberglass for strength. Each unit shall consist of three parts:

1. the main body of the walk in bathtub so as not to have any joints or seams,
2. a front skirt glassed to the main body,
3. a door with operating mechanism to complete the unit.

All step in tubs, tubs with a door walkin tubs shall meet or exceed all ANSI, HUD, FHA requirements/codes governing Fiberglass Reinforced Plumbing Products, and designed to be ADA compliant. They shall be tested and certified at the National Association of Home Builders Research Center, and comply with BOCA, ICBO, and SBCCI for certification. The manufacture shall also be registered with the FDA for classification as a medical device.

Model #954 (Tub with a door {Left or Right Drain) shall measure 60” long, 32” wide, and 21” high, with a door opening of 18-1/2”, together with a 2” threshold. It shall be available with a left or right hand drain (door opens over drain), and optional full skirt for access on three sides. Due to a sloping back wall, there shall be no integral seat.

• All Walkin Tubs, with a door models shall be suitable for recess in the floor 3” so as to present a ZERO threshold, or may be mounted on top of the floor.
• Both the drain and overflow receptacles shall be factory bored.
• All mechanical hardware including screws, nuts, bolts, and washers shall be stainless steel for lifetime use.
• The aluminum hinge shall be of a gear configuration for added strength, and easy door removal should it ever be necessary.
• The gasket material shall be of a quality and density as recommended by NASA for water integrity.
• The floor shall feature a slip resistant surface.
• Standard colors shall be White or Bone/Almond.

OPTIONS: Whirlpool & heater ( whirlpools feature a 1hp pump with color matching or chrome adjustabler jets), matching Acrylic wall surround (three piece or one piece), assist bars, hand-held shower wand, rim mounted hand-held shower wand, full line of decorator colors (white and bone/almond are standard). This unit is not designed for wheelchair access.
