Independent Living Research Utilization - is a national center for information, training, research, and technical assistance in independent living. Its goal is to expand the body of knowledge in independent living and to improve utilization of results of research programs and demonstration projects in this field. It is a program of TIRR (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research), a nationally recognized medical rehabilitation facility for persons with disabilities.

Institute on Independent Living - is a philosophy and a movement of people with disabilities who work for self-determination, equal opportunities and self-respect. Independent Living does not mean that we want to do everything by ourselves and do not need anybody or that we want to live in isolation. Independent Living means that we demand the same choices and control in our every-day lives that our non-disabled brothers and sisters, neighbors and friends take for granted.

International Center for the Disabled - ICD was founded in 1917 by noted philanthropist Jeremiah Milbank, Sr. as the "School of Another Chance" for disabled veterans of World War I. The first outpatient rehabilitation center in the United States, ICD has pioneered innovative programs and services for people with every imaginable disability for well over 85 years. Today ICD is a comprehensive rehabilitation center providing medical rehabilitation and primary care, mental health and addiction recovery services, and vocational rehabilitation and job placement services - all under one roof.

International Multiple Sclerosis/Autoimmune Disorders - non-profit online support group for people with MS and Autoimmune Disorders.

Internet Mental Health - Our goal is to improve understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness throughout the world.

Interstitial Cystitis Association - Founded in 1984, the Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA) is a not-for-profit health organization dedicated to providing patient and physician educational information and programs, patient support, public awareness and, most importantly, research funding. The ICA works nationwide on behalf of all IC patients.

Careers & the disABLED - Careers & the disABLED Magazine is the nation's first and only career-guidance and recruitment magazine for people with disabilities who are at undergraduate, graduate, or professional levels.

eSight Careers Network - a comprehensive and free Internet service to help blind and visually impaired individuals create new career and employment opportunities. eSight has been developed to meet the career management needs of the blind and low-vision community and is designed to be totally accessible and easily navigated.

Equality Staffing - located in New York City, assists in temporary and permanent placement of qualified workers with disabilities, and addresses disability as a diversity issue in the workplace.

Goodwill Industries International Career & Job Training Services - largest nonprofit provider of employment and training services for people with disabilities. The community-based employment and training programs that form the basis of Goodwillís operations provide services in the areas of vocational evaluation, vocational adjustment, job-seeking skills/placement, and transitional employment.

National Business & Disability Council - is the leading resource for employers seeking to integrate people with disabilities into the workplace and companies seeking to reach them in the consumer marketplace.

Office of Disability Employment Policy - U.S. Department of Labor has developed a WIA Section 188 Disability Checklist to ensure nondiscrimination and equal opportunity to persons with disabilities participating in programs and activities operated by Local Workforce Investment Area (LWIA) grant recipients that are part of the One-Stop delivery system.
