What it is: A hand-held accelerator, designed to be used in any driving situation and sets you free with as much room for movement. Is available in different sizes.
How it works: The coiled cable comes out of the device and connected directly to the vehicle and is done so precisely that it does not obstruct any movement or any other components of the car. It is essential that the power cable is fitted close to the back of the driver’s seat. Acceleration is accomplished by gradually depressing the control lever with the thumb.
Where it’s located: Available for both the right hand and the left hand and is almost like wearing a glove. The acceleration control lever is adjustable to fit any thumb. Store your accelerator in any small compartment when not in use.
The Guidosimplex "simple driving" difference: Allows the driver to keep both hands on the wheel while accelerating. Easy, fingertip control of the gas makes even distance driving comfortable. Unique safety feature cuts the gas under hard braking.
PLUS: You'll have the 50% switch -- an exclusive feature on every Guidosimplex electronic accelerator. The 50% switch allows you to "turn down" or "gear down" the sensitivity of your accelerator. That means:
You'll be able to ease the gas more precisely and slowly, when just a little gas is needed -- like driving in traffic, or pulling into and out of parking spaces.
